

From 10 to 100
Five years of holistic support enables grassroots changemakers break loose from the struggle to sustain their organizations, and become 'Fundable' in their own right. We employ a trust-based approach, tailoring our support to the stated needs of each changemaker. Each experience may be different, but a five year salary, funding for capacity building, and funding for infrastrucutre are always guaranteed with no strings attached.
Year 0: Selection
Changemakers may be nominated by anyone (friends, colleagues, supervisors). Shortlisted candidates are invited to provide references and go through two rounds of interviews and an in-person site visit by a Fundable board member.
Year 1: Getting Settled
Fundable provides a stable, full-time salary for all five years of support, starting from year one. During year 1, the goal is for changemakers to focus on their mission and understand their long-term vision, rather than scramble for funding.
Year 2: Build Capacity
In the second year, in addition to having their salary covered, changemakers are able to pursue capacity building opportunities they feel they need to achieve their goals. This could include language courses, grant writing workshops, and personalized mentorship.
Year 3: Build Network
In addition to salary and continuing to build skills, changemakers get increasing opportunities to put these skills to the test by applying for grants, and presenting their work at national and international forums.
Year 4: Nurture Connections
Changemakers work with mentors on maintaining their new-found networks, and locating new opportunities. They may also use this time to invest in infrastructure supporting their long term vision. During this time, they continue to be paid a full-time salary.
Year 5: Fundability
In the last year of salary and capacity building support, Changemakers work with their mentors to create a long-term sustainability plan, employing their newfound skills and networks to become Fundable in their own right.
